I have seen the name "Neveah" come up in this section quite a lot. I had never in my life heard of it before I saw it on here! I know it is "Heaven" spelled backwards and I think it's hilarious! Do people seriously call their children this or is it just a big hoax? Thanks!

My niece went to daycare with a little girl named Nevaeh.  Yes, people really use this for a name.  Scary right?  If Nevaeh is Heaven spelled backwards, then wouldn't Nevaeh technically mean h**l?  lol  People just don't think things through.

I think it's personal preference....My cousin is married to a woman and her dad is a minister, she named her daughter Nevaeh....I don't understand why people have to criticize ANY names....How would you feel if someone posted a question about your name or one of your childrens names and making fun of it or saying how awful it is....Would your feelings be hurt????

Yes,my friend called her child it, but her's is actually 'Heaven' spelt backwards. I think it's awful.

I kind of learned about it on here too.  I say 'kind of" because I remember hearing, barely, when that name got created (a celebrity baby name), then totally forgot about it...

Yes, it turns out it's really, really popular.  I'm still not 100% sure how it sounds.  And it gets so much popularity on here that sometimes I read names backwards :P  Anyway, I don't like it, as it looks kind of strange to my eyes.

What's even sadder is that like that it isn't "Heaven spelt backwards" at all. It's "Haeven spelt backwards".

People who use this name clearly have no idea what the traditional significance of writing words backwards is. Yes, mums, you are naming your darling baby girl "h**l".

I hate it. It truly tops the charts when it comes to trailer park names. I urge you not to consider it when naming your child. I'm so glad you posted this because I'm sick of seeing it pop up on here- it's not even a name!! People only name their daughters Nevaeh because they think it's smart or unique to switch the letters of Heaven around. Honestly there are MUCH better names out there. Wow that's the end of my rant :)

ps. I'm sorry to anyone who is named Nevaeh, named their daughter Nevaeh or knows anyone named Nevaeh.

can none of you spell? it doesn't spell heaven backwards you'd have to rearrange as the 'e' and the 'a' are the wrong way round!
