It's a fake. I had a very good quality version of this picture and opened it on Photoshop.

The first thing I did was zoom in on the head of the "ghost" and noticed that it's head had been smudged together with the jeans to create an effect of blending. It was so obvious in some places I never bothered looking elsewhere and automatically decided it was a hoax.
