Is this a regular catfish or a bullhead?

Well I went fishing in the Potomac and caught this fish,

it is a channel cat - look at the back fins

you're not eating it are you?  Be sure you check the fish advisories for warnings about fish from the potomac...you need to be very careful with bottom feeders since that is normally where all the nasty stuff goes along with lunch for most catfish / bullhead....

Check the MD and VA Fish & Game websites for info

As stated its a channel cat..channel cats have a "V" tail where bullheads have a rounded convex shaped tail. Hope this helps ya out a bit.

I know this has nothing to do with your question but you didn't give me any ways to answer about the shiny floatzel for a arceus.  I had to trade my shiny floatzel for a Darkrai but I DO have a shiny Shaymin + it has the pokerus effect on it . I'm pretty sure it is more valuable than a floatzel. So if you want it...i'll gladly trade it for an Arceus. Plz e-mail me as soon as you can so we can schedual a time for the trade.

PS: I dont mind if you got the flute for arceus by action replay. But the arceus must be caught in 'Hall of Origin. Thanx!

I'd have to call this one a channel cat, but the coloring is a little off to be absolutely sure. Has to be a channel cat.

You got me!  Nearest I can figure, it's either a White Catfish or a Snail Bullhead Catfish.  If you're still unsure, pick up July's issue of Florida Sportsman and turn to page 47.  Hope this helps. Tight lines!! :D
