I got a voucher in the mail saying I won a free cruise from Ramada cruise lines. It came with a thing that looked like a cheque, which was supposed to be the free money I could spend on the cruise, and it also included free hotel stays. It seemed to good to be true when I had not entered any contest. I was going to a small store where I know the owner so I asked his opinion about it. He told me to call the 1 800 number from there and ask them to send me my tickets right away to see what they said. They asked me to confirm my address but didn't have a logical explanation of how they got it. Then they asked for the number I was calling from but when I said it was a store they didn't want the number and put me on hold for a long time. Then they asked me for some confirmation numbers from the voucher, blabbed about the company, and said the vouchers were sent by registered mail, which mine was not. After five minutes I told them we'd call back and hung up.

  1. - most of these on-line marketing stunts are just trying to obtain your personal information, be cautious,.

                      bye     good  luck,..,

  2. It's one of two things: a scam that will turn your money into their money, or a maketing mailout that is meant to turn your money into their money.

  3. Remember this, in life you never get anything for nothing.

    Throw it in the trash.

  4. Sounds like the same offer I had 10 years ago.  If it is, you would have to attend meetings on time shares, which isn't too big of a deal, but there are also hidden costs so you wouldn't be getting a deal!  Remember, nothing is free!!

  5. From a quick google:

  6. REMEMBER IF SOMETHING SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE... THEN ITS PROB FAKE, THROW IT AWAY DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

  7. Do you ever see that show scammers. It could be something like that. They ask you for this number that number etc. Then your bank account number SS number or Credit card number. Odds are it is a scam. If anything to go the website and send an email to them. The phone number on whatever you got could be fake.

  8. Dont waste your time its a scam for sure!

  9. They are scams and quite often the scam is the PHONE CALL!! Look at your bill when it comes in. I got the same so your not alone!! Never again!!
