Is this a seizure disorder?

I know when you stand up too fast you get that head rush but for some reason mine is different. I would get up, even very slowly I get a head rush and I cant see, then I start blacking out and have to fall to a bed or atleast scream in agony. It takes about a minute to come back to reality.

Why im worried is because this is happening WAY too often and I could be sitting on a chair and slowly get up and get this feeling.

Is something wrong?

  1. Low blood pressure, you should exercise more and eat healthier

  2. It has to do with lack of blood flow to the brain. When you sit/stand up the blood will pool in your legs, and then the brain receives less blood. You become dizzy/lightheaded, blurry vision, pounding feeling in your head, and may even faint.

Talk to your doctor as there could be a serious causes behind this, of course, there might not be one at all. In the mean time, do things slowly when you get up. Go at a snails pace.

  3. So, the doctor told you that you have high blood pressure.  Did the doctor prescribe any medication for it?  Did you tell the doctor about what is happening?  You need to tell a good doctor about what you are experiencing.  Do so very soon!
