Is this a short height for a teenager?

Question

Is 4'11 short for a 15 year old to be? Weight is 107lbs, shoe size is 4(Canada sizes) Parents are 5'6 and 5'4, brother that is 3 years younger is 5'3.

Ok, Don't worry. I have 5"1.. I am really short and I am about to be 16 and I weight exactly 107. We are the same weight except I am a little taller. I have being short because people are always like "She is like 12 years old"....I HATE being short. I will like do anything to get taller.

My parents are 6"2 and 5"3. I guess I took my mothers height..(SUCKS)

It's definitely shorter than me (I'm 5"10 and 13) but everyone is different! Plus your parents seem a little short too so maybe it just runs in the family!

but i know a 16 year old and an 18 year old who are both that height,

so its okay, dont worry lol

im almost 15 and 4'11 too. people in my class last year were either at my height or a little shorter.

and i went to registration today and most people there were around my height. so where i live its pretty average height.

my parents are the height of your parents too.

my brother that is 13 months older than me is 5'7.

but everyone one is different so even if you have tall parents you could still be short. and same the other way.

but my moms friend shes like 30[i think]

and im wayyyy taller then her

im 5'1 shes shorter then me

lm only 12 and im 5 7. My birth mom is 6 ft 2 and all my biological uncles are 6 5 and taller so yeah sorry but your a lil' too short.

Sounds like your family is pretty short, but thats not big deal mine is too. I was about that height around 14, im 20 now and only 5'3. My parents are both short as well, about 5'7 and 5'2. Sounds like your brother is going to be tall though, my brother is as well..he is 18 and 6'3 now. You will keep growing for another few years anyways :)

and she's so cool

plus most females (in my school) are short

like 5'2 5'0

so it doesnt look short at all

my other good friend is 5'0

my growth spurt was late as well, and so was my mom's so maybe its just genetic?

Well you could still be growing.  You don't stop growing until your late teens...unless you are a smoker.  

Chances are you have some more growing to do.  Don't stress.
