Is this a stye?

It feels like an eyelash under my upper eyelid but i cant see it and nothing is working it get it out. It all of a sudden happened, so im not sure if styes just all of a sudden appear, one min. my eye was fine then the next it feels like i have an eyelash in it. its unbearable now bc nothing will get it out, im so tired i wanna sleep bc its 3 in the am but i cant bc my eye is watering and my nose is running all bc something is in my eye and flushing with water nor eye drops will work! HELP

  1. when you have a stye, it doesn't feel like you're describing.  your eyelid feels very tender and perhaps will even swell.  it's a bit itchy and uncomfortable, but doesn't make you feel that something is IN your eye like that.  and they are continuous irritation, not there one min gone the next.  it is possible that you DID have an eyelash in your eye and, in trying to get it out, the eyelash scratched your eye.  it's not anything serious, but you may have to go to a doctor if the pain doesn't improve to get Rx drops and perhaps an eyepatch...if it's a bad scratch.  i suggest NOT rubbing or messing with it at all.  it will be irritated, but that is just something you will have to try not to think about.  if you cannot open your eye and it is watering excessivly, go to the doctor right away.

  2. put a warm tea bag on it - after you soak it in warm water.

    The tanic acid in it will help to heal a stye. And try some ibuprofen
