Is this a sugar glider or a bat?

It definitely isn't a bat.  I think it may be a sugar glider.  I've only seen them as adults, so I don't know exactly how they look as babies.

I'd say it looks like a breed of monkey actually.

Look at the finger- and toe-tips. It has nails, not claws. Primates are the only animals that have nails. Sugar gliders and bats have claws instesd.

It is neither.  It's called a slender loris, a sort of primate or monkey-like animal.

It is not a sugarglider, they are much cuter with larger eyes.
