What Two Ways are the National Monuments identified?

i mean they look different...what does this mean!lol....are there different special ways to identify them?

i dont know what my book wants me to put!!!!!all i know is they look different!

I'm sure if you read the chapter the answer they are looking for is in there, but let me give you one I thought of.

An easy way to know is by defacing one. If a Federal Officer arrests you and throws you in a Federal Penitentiary, you can be sure.

I think it can be from an act of Congress, or by Executive Order.
