Is this a weak storm system that will move through chicago tonight?

Question

me & my boyfriend were wondering because we want to spend the night out on the town. But, we don't know if we should because of all this talk about rain. So will it even rain & if it does will it be a bad storm or relatively weak?

You guys should probably do something indoors, like roller skating or go bowling....the weather might still put a damper on a nice evening walk down town.

I read and interpreted O'Hare's terminal forecast for you, and NWS is calling for mostly cloudy skies with a brief period of tunderstorms sometime between 11pm - 1am your time.

So, it looks like they are just expecting a quick line of T-storms out ahead of the cold front.

Shouldn't last long.

Shouldn't be bad.  Doesn't look too bad from the St. Charles area anyway and I'm sure it won't matter too much.  

Take an umbrella with you anyway and if it starts to rain, you get a chance to cuddle with each other under it.  Then if it doesn't rain, you still have your night on the town and if it does sprinkle a little, you can make the best of it anyway.
