Is this a weird age to move out?

My mom just told me today that if I attend the local college (which is actually fairly big), she'd want me to stay and live at home for like the first two years and save some money. When did you guys move out (if you're old enough to)? And do you think that 20 is too late to stay and I should just move out? I know the college is like 2 miles away but still... I just don't wanna be 20 and all my friends have their own place and I have to bring my girlfriend back to my parent's house...

  1. I would stay my parents but don't bring your girlfriend home rent a hotel room or something.

  2. i moved out at 16 but i have friends in their late twenties still at home

  3. freshmen year college, you cannot put a price on fun dont forget that, you want to be living on campus or near campus so you can meet ppl ur own age and have fun...

other wise u will commute and be bored as h**l..

while all ur friends go away to big colleges u will be by ur lonesome ...

  4. I would say yes, live at home.

The money you will save will help you for the rest of your life. Leaving callege NOT $10000 in dept.

Also this may help you stay focused at finnishing school so you will get that good job when you do move out.

  5. I know people who are in their mid to late 20s and they still live with their parents. 20 is not that old.

  6. Nah, many people don't move out until their late 20s. I'm 25, going to college and living at home because its less expensive especially in this economy.
