Is this a weird kind of friendship?

I have this friend but he lives in another city and i just seen him twice in person normally we just talk with each other on Msn or phone [not everyday] Is this normal or weird? And i have another friend she lives in the same city as mine and i also don't see her a lot anymore since she lives with her boyfriend and her 2 kids. But i still have contact with these two friends? Is is normal that you don't see your friend less then before?

Yerp of course its normal :) I haven't met up with many of my friends this summer, when there on holiday im at home, and when i went on holiday they were at home. Or we were all to busy on other days, only met up with them like 4 times this summer i think. My mum has friends all across the country and they meet up like twice a year, but still phone each other. You dont have to be with them constantly to be mates, because some friends are friends for life and when you see them its like it always was xD Hope this helps :) x
