Is this a weird phase or is this normal?

Ok well I just started high school at a new school and I know only one person. Lately at school I always miss my parents and start to cry a little bit because I think of how nice they are and how much i miss them. like is that normal or what? its weird b.c most highschoolers hate their parents but i always want to be with them and stuff

Its a beautiful thing to love your parents as much as you profess.  But you will have to learn that love transcends distance and no matter how far you are from a loved one that love remains.

it's not weird, u obviously have a healthy relationship with ur parents. i hope u can make more friends though soon, so u don't miss ur parents as much.
