  1. i don't like it

  2. My name is Nikki and I hate having a nickname for a full name. Is there something more formal and Rikki can be short? I/m sure your not thinking of it now, but when she's older she might want something more professional.

  3. Nice. It is short for Ricarda which means "Powerful ruler"

  4. my brother had a girlfriend with this name its okay but i prefer Ricky for a boy, just my opinion.good luck.

  5. It reminds me of Bianca from Eastenders callin rikkaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy..... Sorry!!

  6. i don't like it

  7. I think spelled Rikki it is 100% feminine name. I agree with some that maybe you should use a formal name and that as a nn but heck Rikki is cute on its own.

You have to be the one happy with it. i used the name I loved best as middle names for my first two and have always regretted it.

  8. The spelling Ricky is definitely a boy name, but with that spelling, I think it kinda does look very feminine

  9. isn't the best name out there

    but very unique

  10. i like it

    - ♥ Taylor ♥

  11. I like it. Its feminine, spelling it with k's. I think it works

  12. i think its really cute

  13. I really like it! But I think Rikki should be short for something like Raquel (Ra-kel).

    I really like unisex names!

  14. Way CUTE. I think it is different. But cute. Give her a really girly middle name.

  15. I'm not fond of it, it just sounds rough to me. I also once knew a girl named RikkiLeigh and she was really annoying, so it must just have bad conotations for me.

Why don't you give her a name like Veronica and Rikki can be a nickname?

  16. I like it !

I sorta agree with the person that said, not for the actual birth name yet call her that.

    I dont like Ricarda tho

Erica / Erika could be called Rikki as a nickname.

Then if she turned out to be business woman or run for Congress, she could use Erika for a less perky and a better power name.

  17. I don't think it's formal enough. It's fine for a little girl or teen, but what about a 50 yr old woman?

  18. That's a really cute nickname, but why not give her a full name like Verika or Veruca and call her Rikki?

  19. I don't like it much =/

  20. It's not feminine at all and it doesn't sound like a pretty girl's name. Sounds a bit rough for a girl. Don't like and she prob won't like it either when she gets older...sorry

  21. Call her Erica with Ricky (or however you want to spell it) as a diminutive

  22. i dont like it

    i like Nikki Lynn though

  23. i cannot decide for you but it is not my favorite

  24. I dont think so. I know at least 5 girls with the name Rikki. and have a friend with the name Rikkia which I think is a pretty name and quite similar to Rikki.

  25. I don't like it for a boy or a girl.

  26. I think its wonderful :)

It is mostly associated with Rikki Lake, the chat show host though. It suits people of all ages too - young children and mature adults.

If you like it - then go for it! She's your baby, so she will love whatever name you give her :)

  27. No thanks.

    :D

  28. No.  Remember Rikki Lake.

  29. I think that is a beautiful name for a girl.

You have also spelt it the feminine way.

I say go for it if you are happy with it.

    Good Luck.
