Is this acid rain that I am dealing with?

Well, last night it rained and I have a vegetable garden. In the morning when I went to go check up on it, I noticed that it was a bit droopy, with one of the pepper plants completely spread out on the dirt, and I observed to see if it was that the stem was broken, or any other cause. All I know is that the plants are usually very erect after a rain shower. Could this have been acid rain? Also, I noticed a lot of small, dead frogs in my back yard.

  1. Acid rain as strong as lemon juice was recorded at one place I used to work on top of a mountian.   It didn't kill the plants overnight like that.    Probably your moron neighbor spraying weed killer all over his lawn and some drifted over to your garden.

  2. im sure if it was, it would be on the news or something.  Its not like it just happened in your backyard only.

  3. most likely yes.  if you live in a very populated area or at least near a populated area there is bound to be at least a little of acidic rain.

  4. Check out your neighbors' gardens to find a similar pattern.
