  1. peak watts mean nothing....don't look or consider it for anything.

that box says 800w at 4ohm, the amp does 375w at 4ohm. chances are they use 8ohm subs in the box and wired then in parallel to get a 4ohm final impedance, so wiring them at 2ohm would not be an option. if you like the amp, find subs that will handle 750w when wired at 2ohm.

i can tell you right now the box that those subs are in is c**p, a port with that large of an opening in that small of a box needs to way longer than the box is to even come close to having proper tuning.

i would suggest, get the amp and get a single sub (list below)....find something that fits your budget. and have a box built to spec for the sub you choose. you will be way happier in the long run and will be a lot better than what you looking at...yes, a single sub in the proper enclosure is all you will need. (if your interested, i design enclosures)

check out these sites for subs:

  2. Na man those woofers together have a 1600 watt peak. If you were to get that amp and have them wired to 2 ohms, then you would only be feeding each woofer 375 watts each. So The RMS of those are 800. You want to feed each one at the MOST 800 watts if you want to run them at there peak. I never like running my subs at there peak i just dont like it. Get 2 of those amps with a dual amp kit and that will be good.
