  1. $75 for a second hand Xplode amp, go to Walmart and buy it new if you want that amp. Just to let you in on something, Sony car audio should be outlawed, it is garbage.

  2. you need a sub that needs about 400watts RMS @ 2ohms

this is what i would recommend

these two 12s in this box ($200) http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3871...

or this single 12 in this box ($150) http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5386...

they are both perfect matches for your amp

and that amp is CEA-compliant and so are the subs which means that the amps have been tested and produce or exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion and the subs can handle their advertised RMS wattage also (distortion is the main cause of speaker damage)

  3. it's all depends on how many watts you want you can use any amp for just bass

  4. If you want to run one sub, It would be good for a single voice coil, four ohm sub. Or, a dual 2 ohm sub. As long as both subs are rated around 500 watts RMS.

If you wanted to get two subs, it would be good for 2 single 2 ohm subs, 2 dual 4 ohm subs, or 2 single 8 ohm subs. As long as each sub is rated around 250 watts RMS.

    Hope this helps.
