A neighbor tells me his son (who lives in WA) heard there is a company there that produce all footy jumpers for the AFL.? (anyone know of that.) Allegedly there is a production run of a GOLD jumper with a big RED Kangaroo on it.? Similar like Brissy with their big lion, but gold with the Roo .. Could this be for an AFL team, or is there another Club in OZ that wears that design . Surely if this is TRUE, someone must know someone, who has a relation who would have friend of a friend who is on yahoo and works in a footy jumper factory in WA, who could tell us.! And all OUR footy jumpers are made in WA cant believe that,!...but then again from Victoria,.. I suppose WA is nearly as far away as China. SORRY (I failed Plastacine at Kindergarten, and Geography at High school)

  1. Well WA produces some the best AFL footballers so why wouldn't we make the best jumpers.

Yes we are long way away that must be why Collingwood very seldom fly over here to play a game.

  2. lol WA is so rejected

but anyway... I havent heard anything...yet.  I have "links" but i dont usually care about where the jumpers are from. If i hear i'll let u know... someday

  3. I'm sure the Nth supporters wont like the sounds of that, sounds a lot like a new strip for the Kangaroos, maybe it could be a home jumper for the games at Gold Coast.

Haven't heard anything though, my suggestion go with a rumor until you hear something from the club.

  4. It could happen before we know it

  5. Oh my goodness!!!!

This sounds like the new Gold Coast Kangaroos jumper.

Well that is the feeling I'm getting.

I'm a Kangaroos supporter and I'd be devastated.

  6. I could make some crack about cheap, uneducated labour or the like but I'll leave that one alone :-).  I actually think it's a miracle that jumpers are produced anywhere in the western world.

It sounds most likely that it would be a publicity or trial run in anticipation of a decision by the Kangaroos or even to try to put pressure on the players who have strangely bought OUT of the decision.  One player was quoted as saying "It's out of our hands" ... now does THAT sound like an inclusive club?

On the other hand, if no-one knows if it was an actually AFL jumper with AFL logo and sponsor etc, it could well be for the Shudderrup Kangaroos U-18 team.  Up here in Canberra there's an affiliated Kangaroos side - Ainslie - who play in St Kilda colours with a white Roo on the front.  (They're one of the hangovers from North Melbourne's brief sojourn to Manuka)

Ah yes - kindergarten ... the best ten years of my life!!

  7. ooohhh I love a good conspiracy theory deeds....LOL

I actually think a gold jump with a red Kanga would look hot!

It might just be for a local WA footy team rather than for a new AFL team.  Either way, lets how they ARNT made from China.  They might contain traces of lead or some fantasy drug !!

Where are all our WA friends today?!!

  8. i had actually been hearing for quite some time that the Kangaroos were financially struggling and looking to move to the Gold Coast. They actually have played some games at the Carrara.

The southport sharks were looking to jump the SAFC to the AFL if there were a merger, but that dont look promising.

Hate to say it, but i believe the roos are moving.

    Soon.
