  1. I would go with a plain wedding band.  You can get great ones (heavy duty) from sites like Costco.com and Samsclub.com for $150 or so...No stones to lose, durable until you can get another.  Some of the rings were rated very low on user's scale, buyer beware!

  2. Most of them are lovely. Just be sure to choose one that when you decide to replace it with a diamond you can do so without it looking like you are stepping down. I mean don't choose a ring that could only be replaced with a 3 carat solitare if you don't think you'll ever be able to afford more than a half carat. When I was married it was not uncommon--in fact, it was quite common for the bride to receive a plain gold wedding band and some years later she got a lovely engagement ring.

  3. the 2nd one would probably be the best bc the others are too big and not that anyone else should care but it will be pretty obvoius that they are not real

  4. I does not matter what the ing looks like, you do not even need one if you done have the money, (but come on what girl doesn't want one)lol.  My fiance bought me a very small engagment ring and our wedding bands are like $40 a peice.  It means the same to me no matter what, because he got it for me and thats what he wanted me to have.  It has the same message, to me at least, behind it.  THe love and commitment.  The money means nothing compared to the love and marriage.  Don't worry what other ppl think, or compare yourself to others.  Its about you and your fiance now and thats all that matters.

    Congrats and Good Luck

I think all those rings are beautiful and I would be proud to wear any of them.

  5. Yes but make sure she's ok with it cuz you most likely will be able to tell its fake and if she's A ok with that then go for it.

  6. Good on you for being so sensible!

    I like the last band, the eternity ring with the diamonds. You'd be better off going with a small diamond over a big cubic zirconia. The bigger they are, the more fake they appear to be. Keep it small and delicate. If you're going to go with cz's, try something with smaller stones like this;

  7. I like the last band you posted, with the 1/8 carat tw diamonds...

I know it's a bit pricey, but go for the band now, and get the big diamond later. The band is the most important part anyways.

That way you have a better quality pice of jewlery that can last....

The first one you posted is really pretty, but a bit too show-offey for my taste (yes, I know it's CZ, but still...)

    You are being very smart...

He can get the big diamond later as a nice anniversary present whenever you are financially able.

  8. I think it is gorgeous. I wish mine bought me one like that. I found out he spent over a thousand dollars. I think that is ridiculous. I would prefer one from walmart.

  9. I would go with something from QVC instead. The fakes look pretty believable and are set in real yellow or white gold. Their website has a 1 carat solitaire in white gold that I've worn for years and is beautiful. You could also get something like this.

  10. yes its beautiful for you and your pockets and remember you will be some much happier being in less debt.you are smart girl go for it

  11. Yes its beautiful, but make sure when you are financial ready you buy her a real nice one.

  12. i'd say get one of the rings with a white gold band but CZ stone, that way later on when you can afford it you can replace the CZ with a diamond

  13. It is very nice! I would say that is a perfect ring to buy now and save up for a different one if you choose that later when you are ready.

    Congrats!

  14. Why not take the money you're going to use for the fake ring and invest in a nice band and just wear that until you can buy a diamond later? Or you can always go with a colored stone which is less than a diamond but more beautiful than cz? Maybe a white sapphire?? Those are stunning.

  15. I love it.  You will be happier in the long run when you have money to spend on things you really want and need.  Later when you celebrate a milestone anniversary you can get another ring if you like.

    Best wishes to you.

  16. if you like them it is fine! they're cute - just save up then on your anniversary maybe in a few ears go ring shopping and bu the ring you always wanted. but keep the old one too - it'l have memories! good luck and congratulations. the most important thing is you are happy with it and everything on your big day. it's quite a smart move (better than buying a semi-expensive not very nice ring).

  17. Go with whichever set has real diamonds, whatever size they happen to be.

  18. I like the first and the third. (first for you, third for him... that one looks like a man's ring to me)

  19. it's beautiful

    congrats!!!

  20. yep its great... but make sure that she knows bc sterling silver can tarnish if she doesnt take the proper care of it..

  21. You have great taste =] Just keep in mind that you don't have to settle. My fiance' unknowingly chose the very ring I wanted: a 1/5 Marquise-cut diamond in a 2mm white gold band. I have no plains to "upgrade" since I am so sentimental and I'm not big on flashy stones. My ring is from Walmart's Facets of Fire collection. From the ones you listed I liked the second set the best. I found these that you might like that look to be within your style choice and prce range:

Of those I love the second one =]

  22. If you like it I don't see any reason why not to get it!

  23. of course. thats also very wise of you two, not blowing money on something you can't afford right now. plus only yous will know its from walmart and the people you tell. but really its a beautiful ring and its a smart desicion. congrats also!
