Is this an alright graphics card for a laptap?

basically the computer is using 1gig of memory. the video card is using the other 1 gig.  it will be ok.

Basically, it depends on what you want to do with that laptop. Games and graphical applications like 3DS Max, AutoCAD, MAYA and so on usually require a graphic card with a fast processor and more memory.

But generally, that laptop with that graphic card is a suitable one for common uses and you won't be disappointed.

yes. my friend had something like that and his computer runs so fast. i go over to his house when i want to get on because mine is so slow.
