Is this an appropriate cage for baby cornsnake?

i have a small cage for now for my baby corn

with newspaper and a hiding spot and water dish

its around 68 F up stairs where i keep it

is this good?

no no no... where did you get this corn snake that let you leave with just that for its housing.... check around online but you at least need a 10gallon tank with heat lamp(with heat lamp housing) house water dish substrate thermometer and im not sure what the temp ranges need to be but its like 70-75 at nite and 80-85 in the day.... get that snake warm or it could get sick and die

No! buy "The corn snake manual" by Kathy love and read up fast! at the very least move the cage to a warmer (i.e. 82 f )room in the mean time while you get ready to run to the pet shop to buy the book  and the supplies it recommends.

no it should be at least 10 gallons its probaby like a closet to him. also bump the temp up. it should be about 75-80 degress. you also nee a heat pad for digetion you should have read this on the web.

No! That is way to small for a baby corn snake! It needs to be at least 10 gallon. And please do all your research on them. They need to have the temp around 75-85F(25-30C) and the lowest you can go is 70F(21C). A 10 gallon tank won't be enough for her later on. She will grow up to be at least 5 feet. So you will need a bigger tank later on too. Since you have already gotten her, you can leave her in that tank for a while(maybe a week MAX), WHILE you are looking for a bigger tank for her. But shouldn't be her forever home or for a few months Snakes shouldn't be treated differently from dogs and cats. They do and will need the same attention or maybe more as all animals. =]
