Is this an efficient way to organize for school?

Mmkay, so I have 5 academic subjects and I decided to color code it with separate binders and such.

Basically I'll have 5 binders with

1) Spiral notebook for notes (keeps everything together)

2) Passed back homework

3) Past tests

4) Loose leaf paper

5) Handouts

Everything is color coded and I think I can make one trip to my locker and take two binders with me so I don't have to go to my locker for the next class. A pencil case will be with me at all times in my backpack, so I don't need to put a pencil case in my binder. Oh, yeah. I'm also going to get an accordion file thing so I after I finish my homework, I'll put everything in there, plus my agenda so then I don't lose it (Many times last year I did my homework but forgot where I put it).
