  1. No, it would be Apples are appealing to -insert your name here-.

Me or I implies first person.

  2. Yep!  If the subject is a noun, the sentence has to be in the third person.

  3. No, you've only made it passive first-person.

Third person would be "Nate likes apples."

Or if you were trying to be really cool, you might say "The Nate-man likes apples."

  4. Not really.  What it does is change it from an active to a passive case. If you want to introduce a third person, you might say "He thinks I like apples." or "I think he likes apples."

  5. he, she, it, they  are all examples of third person.   Using "I" or "me" is first person.  Using "you" is second person.  You may also use a proper name when speaking in 3rd person.  For example, if your name was Joe, to speak in 3rd person.  YOU would SAY

"Apples are appealing to Joe"   or "He thinks apples are appealing"

It's like you're removing yourself from physically being present and are telling the story as if you're talking about someone else (a 3rd person besides yourself and the listener you're talking to)

  6. no

it -insert name - finds apples appealing
