I have online classes and one of our questions is “Give a real life situation where inequalities may be meaningfulâ€Â
I was really thoughtful and tried to think of something better than some of the other normal responses from the other students. So before I post this, can you tell me is this is an inequality? Thank you!!! ^_^

A girl who just turned 18 wants to get a tattoo. She finds two shops and wants to know who would be cheaper for the tattoo job she wants regardless of reputation.
SHOP A is a new shop whose base tattoo price is $10, and for each additional color the charge is $15.
SHOP B is a older famous shop whose base tattoo price is $50, and for each additional color charge is $5.
To find the total for both shops she can use the slope formula. Y = mx+b
So the inequality of this expression is :15x+10 < 5x+50
SHOP A
Total = 15x+10
Total = 15(3)+10
Total = 45+10
Total = 55
SHOP B<
Total = 5x+50
Total = 5(3)+50
Total = 15+50
Total = 65
Total(s) = 55 < 65
So we find that SHOP A is still cheaper even though they charge more for adding colors.
I believe this is right. Please let me know if this is not! Thanks! ^_^
