Orbs are balls of light which are mainly white but can be seen in other colours like red. What these really are as lead to much debate, Orbs have been put down to paranormal phenomenon, but some which are caught on camera can have a very normal explanations, one of the most popular.

Theories is that orbs are a source of energy being drawn from a source e.g batteries, power lines etc so the spirit can manifest itself. But it thought these lights can be caused by other things such as dust particles or a refraction of light in the camera lens. So the debate goes on as to what these really are and if they really are paranormal.

no. this is of course a flashlight or some source of light but it is NOT an orb. real orbs are usually smaller and they have a line outside the light. besides orbs mean nothin' they are just collections of energy.

i would say, yes i think its real, i have seen other videos by the same people, and they are not out there to make bogus videos, but try to capture real footage....i say this is real also because ive seen the exact same energy with my eyes without capturing it on photos.....many people make bogus videos, but somewhere down the track are also the real thing.... we cannt just debunk every single thing that comes along....im sure other people have seen these balls of energy with their own eyes as well... its pretty spectacular when you see something like this......but after watching it a few times it could be the flash light......

It's huge and I think it's fake. I mean it is so big and why would the orb that big? It definitely is fake. It looks like a person is swinging the flashlight across the room.

I think the majority of orb claims can be debunked!

My team and i never seen an orb manifest into any mist or apparition or have been shown documented proof. " In The 90's the revolution of digital images took place and thus bringing upon interest to paranormal investigation and research. The company Sony brought about night vision (ability to see and record pictures in darkness) which using them they started to notice new anomalous phenomenon Orbs. Thousands upon thousands these are loaded on the internet. Just about everyone with a digital camera would capture orbs. Analyzed by experts they started noticing that photos of orbs were occurring in places that were not haunted indoors and outdoors. Scientists would do experiments had thrown and blown dust or powder in front of cameras caught in the flash they gave convincing Orbs that looked exactly like those seen in many of the pictures that people search for photos all the time and look at on orb/ghost sites. Outdoors in misty conditions photos produce tens of thousands of orbs and rain produced many in photos as well. Moving Orbs seen on the night vision video are simply the result of the camcorder capturing a moving image of the dust or water droplets as they get carried past by the slight currents of moving air that are Moving Orbs are simply the result of moving currents of air and in one case an insect, dust , pollen etc. flying through the air .It goes to show that your common anomalous phenomena "Orbs" happens to be common things such as dust, bugs , rain , moisture etc. reflecting back the light of the flash and also to close to the lens.

It's either a ghost, or a flashlight beam shining on the wall and ceiling. Of the two possibilities, a ghost far more likely.

no, it is not ....... at 00:46 you can see a guy with a flash light and the same "orb" in the floor when the guy points his flash light to it ..... the he turns quickly and the "orb" shows in the wall and ceiling ...... appearing to fly

My daughters caught a real orb on cell phone,whic looks like a streak of light unless you freeze frame it. This looks like flash light or something hitting the lens of the camera to me, No, it is not an orb.

Yes, it an orb as in something that is round. In this case the round light (orb) is caused by a flashlight that is visible in someones' hand on the video being shined on the wall.

It's not actually anything supernatural.  It seems to be a flashlight reflecting off the camera lens. But it is still an orb because it is round.  lol
