Is this an <span title="insult?..................?">insult?.....................</span>

Question

I have been seeing this guy for two months.I always wear my hair down.It is very curly and I suppose,not to everyone's taste.The other night he asked me if I ever did anything else with my hair,like tie it up or something?Does that mean he hates my hair?Should I be insulted?

No! he just would like to see how you look with a different style.

For instance I thought that Sian Lloyd( BBC weather girl now Mrs Jonathan Ashman) looked fantastic with her hair up instead of hanging around her face.

She has a lovely neck and a beautiful profile.

It is your hair and you can do anything with that.

But, at the same time, why can&#039;t you give a little respect for somebody&#039;s view, if it is not hurting you.

Some one is interested in you and he wants you to be more beautiful to look at.

Why don&#039;t you ask him (with a little humor)? :) Even if he does hate your hair, it would be a compliment to you since he  still wants to see you *anyway*.

No, dont take that as a insult, you should have asked him &quot;like what styles&quot; i mean sometimes people say something and we take them differently. Probably he met that you should do other styles instead of putting it down always. Its not a insult.

no he isn&#039;t insulting you but he is probably wondering how you would look if you changed it up a bit. Take more time to groom yourself and think about hairstyles. It sounds like he really likes you and just wants to see you look pretty thats why he asked. its like a guy asking have you ever thought of wearing that s**y short black dress instead of that long black dress kinda thing.

considering you say you have only known him 2 months I don&#039;t think you are at the stage to be asking questions like that, in the literal sense... unless you have known him longer, so I would imagine it&#039;s a slight way of him saying you should try something different, but he cared enough to disguise it. So it&#039;s like a backhanded compliment.

if he constantly comes out with ideas about changing your appearance then yes.

but if its only this he has said about changing. maybe he is just curious to see what you would look like with a different style. maybe he thinks your hair is so nice he would love to see it styled in different

if it is just a one off thing he has said then i wouldn&#039;t be too paranoid about it. try something new with your hair and you may appreciate his advice afterwards. i mean its just like a girl friend would give you advice on things. same idea just that this is your boyfriend.

however if he constantly makes negative remarks about your appearance then ask him why? if he won&#039;t cooperate dump him.

nah, sounds like he just wants to know, or maybe e would like you to try out new options with your hair, i dont see the harm in it, plus you could surprise your self if you do a little hair style discovery lol
