  1. This is either an example of absolute stupidity or selfishness.  Either these people are dumb enough that they actually believe they are doing the right thing or they are so selfish and self absorbed that they don't care that they are alienating and punishing a child for being good at something because they don't want to see their kids lose.  Great message to teach kids.  "Work hard and you will be sent home because you will make the rest of us look bad".

  2. This is political correctness at its worst.  Losing is part of the game and part of life.  These parents need to get over themselves and remember that.  Plus, what does it do to the kid pitching's self-esteem?  He may hold back his talents just so he can be accepted instead of giving it his all.  These parents should be ashamed of themselves.

  3. How does this have anything to do with political correctness?  This seems to be just the opposite.

I just have to wonder if this would happen to a white little league team.  New Haven, CT is one of the most conservative Republican cities in the entire US.  It seems to me that this would never had been allowed to happen if the name of league was in English.

  4. One of these days kids may be lining up to say he struck them out & their parents errrrrr the town barber is trying to s***w that up
