Due to recent events, and having learned a new word the other day thanks to a well rounded answer from one of my contacts, I have to ask . . .

Aposiopesis . . .

How long are these?

Are they twice a caesura?

Or multiplied by a plethora?

Do you measure them in feet?

Or do they only count as a beat?

Can they be considered an enjambment?

When put in at the end of a line?

Or do they take up more time?

Is it a pompous showboat?

That makes time float?

Can it replace a dash?

No, those clash . . .

  3. Well, I had to look up two words.  Very creative and fun in both content and shape.  I can guarantee that mine looks nothing like that...poems that is ;)   Funny Boob oo...

  4. Dirty mind aside, you made me look up the word.  A fun, irreverent look at incompleteness.  My wife accuses me of that a lot.  Maybe it is  a symptom of someone who writes poetry?

  5. I had to look up a word, too. I still don't know. What's a Fawcet?

  6. Here I go again, snorting coffee on my monitor and ribs that are never going heal!  The poem is a delight and the shape of your words is...!

  7. Cool! You're beginning to sound like a group of editors having a screaming "discussion."

  8. 47.13, depending on whether you get the cosine or not.
