Senator Obama was a 17 year member of a church that promoted the following philosophy and theology:

"It is important to make a further distinction here among black hatred, black racism, and Black Power. Black hatred is the black man's strong aversion to white society. No black man living in white America can escape it...But the charge of black racism cannot be reconciled with the facts. While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism..." 1. Answer,...Jerry Falwell....I rest my case.

  2. My pastor says lots of things I disagree with; I attend a church that says lots of things I disagree with.  So what!  I am not my pastor or my church, I think and speak for myself, and myself only.

Millions of Catholics attend church regularly.  Do they all follow church proscribed birth control methods?  That's what I thought.

  3. Kind of scary thinking that the man that wants to be the leader of this country (and the world) belonged to any organization that spouted racist filth like that.

As a previous person answered, I do not always agree with my Minister but you know if I went to a church that preached white supremacy and racism and followed the doctrine such as stated in the question all the time, I think a person if they believed differently would have to be strong enough to take a stand and leave. Any moral decent person would not sit there for nearly 20 years if that was not how they truly felt.

Talk (speeches) are cheap, actions speak louder than words and Obamas actions are screaming!
