Is this appropriate...?

My friend (she is white) referred me to a salon that she goes to. They did a great job on her hair, she got curls. I want to go there but I am not sure if they do "black" hair. Would it be appropriate if I was to call and ask the salon?

yeah just ask because they might not have any experience with your hair it's always best to ask before it's too late

yea id give them a call thats the right thing to ask they wont be affended they probably have a lot of costumers that ask that question !

You should call because what if they don't do your type of hair

well it depends on how u say it. instead of saying "do u do black peoples hair?"

Say this instead "I was wondering if u all worked on African American woman's hair hair?"

OR... "Hi! Im calling to find out if you all work on women of color hair?"

thats a bit more classy.

My parents own a salon so... thats what my parents would want to hear so im sure thats what the other salon wants to hear!
