  1. well, you could, just to be safe. but if you don't feel like wearing them, just shave your legs really well, as in make sure they look presentable. the whole idea of pantyhose is to make legs look better.

  2. You don't have to. If you want to look tacky, and trashy don't wear them.

A woman that cares about her appearance, would wear them though!

  3. "where" is the interview?!

  4. You certainly don't have to wear anything you aren't comfortable wearing.  However, wearing stockings/pantyhose shows a potential employer that you care about how you present yourself.  Even if the job you are applying for doesn't require such dress code standards, you want to portray yourself in as much of a business-like manner as possible.  Interviewers take note on these kinds of things.  I've known some interviewers that decide how hire-able a person is just by their hand shake.

  5. You really don't have to wear stockings when it is hot out... I got that info straight from an employer who came into my grad class.  It's appropriate.

  6. Yes, wear pantyhose.   That's a more professional look, especially if it is a suit you are wearing.   Nude or tan coloured are ok, since it is summer.  If your suit and shoes are black, then go with black pantyhose or off-black pantyhose.

  7. Well, if you're going to wear the dress, wear pantyhose. It is uncomfortable, but if it's a professional office job, it's better to be safe than sorry. You can always remove them in the restroom right after the interview.

  8. It depends on the industry. If this is a general job fair then you're fine in just the dress, no tights. If it is a notoriously conservative field like law or finance, you should wear sheer hosiery to look more polished.

  9. of course you do not, the professional world is taking a slightly lax attitude during the summer months, as long as you are shaved (legs that is, THAT is a must otherwise panty hose) and you must keep an appropriate outfit.  Dress usually tends to be more casual and/or DRESS wear, may not be appropriate for job interview.  But then again id have to see the dress, maybe be a lil more specific on what the dress looks like.  Hope that helped, i wouldnt worry about it if everything goes, panty hose is old and out

  10. Honey go with a suit and something to cover your legs.  I would suggest a "nude" color pantyhose or stockings that are sheer.  You can always go with white or black depending on the color of your suit.  Do not dress down if you are going to interview with anyone.  LOL!  As my mom told me....you got to tough it out and get through the interview no matter how uncomfortable you are.  I would also suggest you shop for a great fitting suit and different stockings until you find pantyhose/stockings that fit well and are cooler on your legs.  They are out there and once you find a brand you like.....you will look great and feel great!  Good luck!

  11. Let's put it this way, if you care about getting the job wear pantyhose.

If the interviewer/company doesn't care for hose at their place of employment they will tell you after they hire you about the dress code. But I doubt they will ding you for wearing them.

If the interviewer expects a polished look in their prospective employees then you will waste your time going to the open house without pantyhose.  He or she will definitely ding you on your appearance in the interview.

Personally, I almost always reject a candidate for a second inteview if they fail to dress appropriately the first time.
