Is this art? Roman noodle artist makes sculpture of buildings ...?

What do you think about the stupid Roman artist making sculpture of buildings out of thousands of noodles? Isn't this a waste of food? People are dying from anger and you s*** head are playing with food.

Well you can't really say that. i mean if he bought the stuff, what's wrong with that? If people are starving, some guy making sculptures out of food doesn't make that worse. Art is important too, and anyways you think those noodles would be going to the poor, if not for his art projects?

I have not seen any of his art but I agree that the food could probably be used in a better way but I would also consider his sculptures artwork more than some scribbles and circles that i have seen that sell for big bucks.

Well, you can't really single him out for overlooking the starving people of the world, because we all forget those obvious facts. It's great that you're thinking of that, and I really admire your consideration; but unfortunately, that's not what's on most of our minds =(

But anyway, I think he could be doing the same thing with Legos, instead of... noodles. Hey -- If I could build an F-18, and a submarine, and a race car, and an entire city out of Legos when I was 10, imagine what this artist could be doing with Legos right now!

You're absolutely right.  He shouldn't be building things out noodles.  Of course, if some of his creations are used to raise money to alleviate world hunger....  no, he shouldn't be playing with food.  

Has anyone seen the life-size cow carved out of butter?  Now that was awesome.
