Is this backpack too big?

Question

i think this backpack may be to big but i go to a private school (i am 12)i need a bigpack because i have an average of 1 hour and 40 min of homework each night. i dont want a rolling backpack because i cant fit it in my locker. please give me your opinion:)

the back pack is fine my friend has a back pack that is bigger than that

I really like the straps on the sides that allow you to compress the pack for when you don't have alot to carry but quickly expands for the bigger loads.  The hydration pack for a drink whenever.
