  1. No your Mac was built for doing things like that.

  2. No. This is safe.

  3. most likely not, computers are built for going on the internet.

internet may slow your computer down if you go on bad sites or download programs. lots of site like flash game sites or p**n sites will give you viruses and spyware wich you DONT want.

If you stick to regular email checking, and normal web browsing you should be safe. PLUS Macs dont really get much spyware and virus so, my awnser is NO it will not slow your computer down at all.

  4. no it wont....

  5. use anti-virus and anti-spyware etc etc of course.. and if you download anything don't open it until you've scanned it.. do regular clean ups with your anti-malware programs

  6. make sure to clear your temproary internet files and run a spyware program and dont download just any program.

  7. Your iMac is safe, as long as you don't get any viruses (or go to those websites that have viruses).

  8. what's bad is that you got an iMac.

  9. not at all... if you have good anti-virus installed and updated frequently, your Mac should give you many years of solid and reliable performance.

  10. No. That's what computers are for. Going on the internet and looking at pictures...

  11. Definitely if you don't have an antivirus, a firewall, and a spyware program.  It's a cruel world out there.

Look at how avg.com can help you.

  12. HAHAHAHAHA!!!

    are you kidding?

A macintosh computer is like a tank and FAST. Have no fears.

  13. No, macs don't need to be defragged and there are very few malware programs out there, you have to try really hard to get a virus for your mac so they stay at relatively the same level of performance, however, if a piece of the hardware fails its expensive to fix so be gentle lol

  14. Nah, you're fine as long as you browse safely and with common sense. I still suggest getting an anti-virus program. It'll be really handy.
