okay my friend is 13 and weighs 220 pounds is that bad

  1. very bad, she needs to drop some pounds or she will have serious health problems to include back & joint degeneration, heart & circulatory problems, many more


  2. Good and bad is hard to determine. But being 13 and 220 Lbs, is generally unhealthy.

    There are many reasons a person might be in this situation.

  4. Normally, a height and weight calculator would apply ( BMI = Body Mass Index). But, since your friend is only 13 and, not likely to be of any significant or extra-ordinary height, this is an unhealthy weight. The BMI index, however, does not necessarily apply to children or teenagers. This is due to several factors. But, your friend needs to be evaluated by a Nutritionist and/or their Doc to find a means to reduce an unhealthy weight.

    but i would say it is really unhealthy

    my cousin is 17 and 190 pounds and she is well...big

    i think ur friend needs to get healthier

    not for appearance, but for her own health

    as u get older, health just gets worse

  6. It's unhealthy, but don't judge her. Be her friend, exercise together and don't go to fast food restaurants as much. Good luck
