  1. It will be big enough temporarily for a baby, but a full grown beardie will need more room than that.  They need at least a 40 gallon...the bigger the better.  And don't forget to give him/her plenty of branches to climb and bask on.

  2. for a young one yes but an adult needs a 100 gallon tank(48x24x24in). that's minimum.they do like running around exploring.

  3. It'll be big enough for a while, until your beardie is a sub-adult (probably around 10" long or so).  After that you're going to have to upgrade.  Bearded dragons need a MINIMUM 55Gal. tank to be happy and to have enough room to turn around.

The regular tank dimensions (i.e. the ones you buy at a pet store) are not the greatest for beardies, because they tend to be somewhat narrow.  For example, the footprint of a 55 is the same as a 90 and a 125; they only differ in height.

Ideally, a custom-made enclosure would be best.  If you are pretty handy, you can build one yourself with plywood for the back, two sides and bottom, and plexiglass for the front.  Remember to use mesh ONLY for the lid, because your beardie will almost definitely rub it's nose along the front of the cage and mesh will cause damage to it.

The minimum ideal enclosure dimensions for a full-grown beardie is at least 4' long x 2' wide x 2' high.  This will give your beardie ample room to move about and catch food, and it'll give it a little bit of extra height for things to climb on.

    Hope this helps!
