I REALLY hate to repeat a question, but this is a pretty dang important decision im about to make, and I really goofed up the link last time and it was probably why I didnt get much advice.

I'll be paying 2200. Unfortunately I cant find out how many miles it has on it. Its owned by a the family running their own sportbike shop. So I'm fairly confident that it will be in good condition and was well taken care of. I'll be getting a free helmet with it. And at least I'll have a place to take it back to if something goes wrong. I think the price might be a wee bit high, but I dont know. Even if its overpriced, i'll still be getting it, best deal I can get around here unfortunately, nonetheless, im excited. Going out tommorow. Has a clean title. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Oh yeah, I know it has performance parts in it, so its not great for a beginner, but I plan to take it easy and be real careful with it.

  1. he says he'll take 2000. why pay 2200?guy above is right but a little high on his prices.

  2. I don't know man. You need more info than what's in this ad.

what I would do is go to another motorcycle shop in like the next town over and pay the mechanic to come test ride that bike and look it over. Then he can tell you for sure his PROFESSIONAL advice.

Craigslist is funny in that you can usually find good deals in surrounding cities and states. That may be the best deal in ATL but look in Savanna, Columbia, SC and other areas you can get to within about 2 or less hours. If needed you could rent a small uhaul to go pick the bike up, or even have a buddy drop you off and ride it home.

haste makes waste. you don't want to be stuck with a clunker.
