Is this call child abuse if you hit a kid so that way he could sleep at night?

the way you have put your worry, it certainly is child abuse, if this child were to die from being hit so severly that he/she passes out, how would you feel knowing YOU have power to prevent this, and have done nothing.

Get onto it and report them.

Yes, it certainly is abuse.  Hitting a child to go to bed isn't conducive for the child to settle down and go to sleep.  All hitting the child is going to do is agitate the child more and keep the child awake.  What stupid parent would hit their child at bedtime?

It is not right and If he is hitting the kid hard enough for the child "to sleep" you darn well know it is abuse, honey, you gotta help some how...call anonymously! get that child some help. the parents need help and some parenting classes. maybe they don't know what else to do, people usually do what was done to them, it does not mean their monsters, it is sad really, and maybe this is your chance to help !

yes, whoever is doing that is hurting the child and a report should be made right away. that is no way to be to a child, they need a loving home and environment where they feel secure, and that is not security.

I don't know if I understand the question.  The parents hit the child in order to get him to go to sleep.  YES this is child abuse and how is hitting a child helping them to go to sleep.  I am not sure about the laying down next to his former girlfriend.  What does that mean?

yea i think it would be if there are any marks on him like brusis or scratches any sign of abuse that the child is being put in danger. and also if the child has a problem sleepin they should get him sleepin meds.

if its not spanking becuase he is misbehaving then ya i would consider it abuse. not child goes to sleep by force unless they are abused they go to sleep when there tired
