  1. That looks like a fine camera. It has decent optical zoom and features that put it on par with most other point-and-shoot digital cameras.

The camera itself will only hold about 20 pictures. If you want to store more you'll need to buy memory for it. I'd suggest at least 512mb, if not 1gb. That camera will take both SD cards or xD cards. I would suggest the SD cards. You can get a 1gb card for about $20 these days.

That particular camera shouldn't being any more or less fragile than other digital cameras. That being said, most digital cameras are somewhat fragile. It's pretty easy to break the LCD screen or jam the lens by dropping it or getting sand in it. If you're a real klutz and are worried about breaking your camera I'd look into Olympus' line of shock-proof cameras (also waterproof).

  2. its not bad, fujis are fairly good in low light, and it is quite a compact camera, if you're worried about it being fragile, i'd say it's no more than any other camera, buy a case to protect it, and i'd recommend an SD card of at least 512MB, you'll get plenty of photos on that (camera has 45MB of internal memory which is only going to store a dozen shots at most)

if they don't have that one in stock, most Canon cameras are pretty good, look out for the SD1100 and SD750, they are good

  3. there are a bunch of good digital cameras out there for less than $300. you can choose something stylish from : kodak, canon, sony, olympus, panasonic, casio, fujifilm, nikon. "www.walmart.com" "www.circuitcity.com" "www.bestbuy.com"

    Canon PowerShot SD800

good luck on making the best choice for you. yes, you'll need a SD memory card, if you get the fujifilm n if you love taking pictures.

  4. Some questions you need to ask yourself is

    1) how big of a camera do you want?  The bigger the camera, the more features it usually has (manual controls, bigger zoom, etc...)

    2) do you use or will you need manual exposure controls?

    3) look for features like image stabilization.  This is a KEY feature and should be included in any camera you buy in the $150+ range.

    4) Check the camera's movie mode and see if it fits your needs.  Some are 30fps, some max out at 24fps...some have higher resolution capabilities.

    5) without a doubt get the biggest memory card you can afford.  At least 2gb. Memory is very cheap these days.

  6. yes thats a good camera!!

i had it for 2 years and it was mazing! (the reason i dont have it anymore cause its at the bottom of a lake now!)

most cameras dont hold that much pics so i would suggest getting a memory card its not all that fragile depeneding on how hard and much times u drop it. it gets lost easily cause its slim. thats the bad thing u gotta be careful u dont lose it! i would suggest it as the first camera its rly good
