Is this camera any good?

I just won a camera it is a Samsung Digimax NV20 12.1 Megapixel digital camera with face detection.any good

A camera with such high megapixels and face detection technology is good.

I have just had a look at the cameras specs, it also seems to have a 3x optical zoom which is good versus digital zoom.  Remember Digital Zoom just crops as you zoom further, thus reducing image quality.

The camera is probably a decent camera. It runs between $270- and $300- in most places, wining it is icing on the cake.
