What improvements can i make to it?

Can i also have suggestions for PSU please, i will be using the GPU in SLI

This is the first computer I am building and I would be very thankful for any help

Also, I would put XP Pro on for an operating system to take advantage of the 4 GB of RAM.

well so far it's a good system , but i'd advice you to change the rams to the c4 series, it has a lower latency so it should perform better, also 2 9800x2 is too much for a simple q6600 since your system would bottle neck on the cpu , also sli or crossfire is only usefull when you're running on high resolutions

It looks quite good to me.

Look out for special deals on the cpu. Sometimes you can get higher models cheaper than the lower ones.

If you're running Vista, make sure the components say they're Vista compatible.

For the PSU, buy a good brand like Corsair or something. Don't rely on the ones that come fitted to a case as they're usually crappy, even in expensive cases.
