Is this connection normal?

I live in Ethiopia and they give me an internet connection of 52kbps and whenever i download something the spead is 3kbps. Is it normal? is there anything i can do to speed it up?

  1. contact your ISP but it's not all together unusual for that to happen


  2. Go here http://testmy.net/ and find your actual speed If you download something from a file sharing software it can be normal.
