My cousin's girlfriend always says "I'm going to go by the supermarket" instead of to or "That's his/her own" instead of That's his/hers, she's the only person I've ever met who says this and it drives me insane.

  1. Try living in Hawaii.  English is spoken very different here, ie.  if can, can, if no can, no can.

  2. uh i think its right.

  3. The first one is OK I think. I would say "to the supermarket" as well, but it's not exactly wrong, grammatically. Or at any rate, it's acceptable English. But the second one is just bizarre, I must say! It would drive me crazy too! The use of the word "own" is completely unnecessary!!

  4. They're correct enough, although the first makes it sound like she's going to drive by the store and just keep going, and the second just has unnecessary words. I'd be annoyed, too.

  5. Its Indian English. :)

  6. You would stay annoyed if you would come to Oklahoma then.Get over it.It`s not like you are being graded on it.Have you ever thought that you might be even worst?

  7. Wow! You are easily annoyed. Yes, it is correct.
