of the carolsel. so in relation to a human on earth the sun is not spinning, it is locked in rotation to the earth.

so when one ask if the sun spins the answer would be in viewing it from space or the sun it spins with the earth. correct

  1. I think you're asking why don't we see the sun spinning from earth. But, in fact we do when there are sunspots in our field of view. We can clearly see them changing position in relation to us but the sun is so huge compared to us, so far away and so basically without "fixed" surface features that it doesn't appear to be "spinning" as fast as it actually is. And, if there are no sunspots we would have nothing to gauge it's movement because it doesn't have any "fixed" surface features. (being gaseous) In fact, the suns gaseous state makes it rotate a different speeds in different areas. The center is moving faster than the poles but we can't "see" that either because the center looks just like the poles;)

And an observer from the sun would have many "fixed" surface features to "show" our rotation. (being terrestria)

  2. No.

The sun would be the center. Thr rider is the Earth. The moon is your Mommy walking around you so you don't fall from the horsie.

  3. no the sun would be in the center you on the carousel would be the earth because the earth revolves around the sun. idk exactly how to say the moon in reference to the carousel idea... but the moon revolves around earth.
