Is this cut normal?

i was covering something with plastic wrap a few days ago and i noticed a cut on my thumb. but i hardly felt anything, except when i moved my thumb it would kinda throb. there was like no blood. im guessing it was from the cutting edge on the plastic wrap box, should it have bled or should i have felt something more or is this normal??

It probably just wasn't deep enough to sever any blood vessels.  That's normal.  The reason you didn't feel anything is because the blade from the plastic wrap was probably so sharp that it was a very clean cut.

Sometimes we just aren't paying attention. I get scrapes and bruises working with horses and don't even know how I get them. Or the area that got cut may not be really sensitive.

it's normal it's what is called a superficial cut it cut only the skin layer and is not deep enough to reach the blood vessels
