  1. That looks perfect for a 15 year old. Get it.

  2. it is as dangerous as you make it.  Think of a bike on the highway, and thats about as dangerous as it gets.

on local roads though, you'll  be fine.

  3. ... says the 12 year old

scooters are really really lame, just save the money for one more year and buy a real motorcycle when you turn 16.

  4. indian john is right

  5. Easy to ride but you may get run over

  6. that bike looks very dangerous. keep the rpms low or it will probly take off without you.  maybe think aobut starting off with something a little more modest, like a big wheel or possibly even power wheel if you have some experience with high performace machinery.

  7. no you don't You want a kawasaki ninja 250. You can get a license for it when you are 15

  8. In California, you have to be at least 16-1/2 years of age before being allowed to acquire a drivers license [either for a car or motorcycle].  So you'll have to wait awhile.  And the Vespa 200L is a fine scooter and is quite stable on freeways.  I just wished it were less expensive [for a new one].  Check out craigslist.com for used Vespas or a used Honda Elite 150 cc.  Here's a clean 2004 Vespa 200L:

    Good luck!

  9. You will be fine.

  10. Again, it's only as dangerous as you make it.  It, in itself, is unlikely to get you into trouble.  It's going to be all the refrigerator drivers who don't see you, aren't expecting to see you, improperly estimate your speed, turn directly into you, sideswipe you, or otherwise run over you, who you need to be worried about.  You'll still need to ride it like a motorcycle -- ride like you are invisible.

  11. If your waiting for your 15th birthday, we kind of figured you are 14.

90% of on here are not 14.

P.S that scooter is cheap tat.

  12. If it is legal for you to ride it you will do just fine. Take a MSF course to be safe.

  13. Give the girl a break, she's only 14 she doesn't need a sportbike that goes 140 mph and she doesn't need a big granddaddy harley-- a scooter would be a good choice for someone who's starting out. I certainly wouldn't want to see a 14 year-old girl riding a CBR, but that's just me I guess.

  14. So b/c you are a girl you don't want a real motorcycle?  What?
