Is this early labor?

i'm 34 weeks. i have been feeling abdominal cramps high in my belly for last 3 hours. no real rhythm just on/off. no bleeding. have not had any cramps before today.

rule of thumb is if you are having more than 4 an hour you should call your doctor.

otherwise if you are not bleeding or anything else and they dont have a pattern than dont worry...

you can also try and lay down and drink some water to make them go away.

If it is real labor the cramps will get Longer, Stronger and Closer together.

If you are very worried call your hospital and have them monitor you, they will be able to tell you if they are contractions. Best of Luck.
