Is this election just all about Obama?

I mean you're either for Obama or against Obama. No one really seems to be for MCcain they are AGAINST Obama! Even when you seem to ask someone why they're supporting Mccain they talk more against Obama and why they can't support him.

  2. since Mccain is 72 and very unfit to lead and has publicly admitted he knows little about economics I hope to God Obama wins!

  3. Possibly, but I think Democrats are more anxious to simply win against Bush and conservatism than they are so "in favor" of Obama and his politics. Remember that Obama had a very tight primary race in which he could have easily lost had Clinton played her cards better.

  5. My beliefs are in line with mccain's & I wanted him to win since the beginning, so it doesn't really have to do with disliking obama for me, although i think he is full of it.

  9. yeah, well the right is always whining about how we "don't know anything about obama" but those whiners won't wiki or google or even go to his website--all they do is cry about him being a "rock star" or the "messiah" or "inexperienced" or he'll do this or that--it's all smear, plain and simple. Even your question--"is it all about obama?" is a question the right asks--when everyone knows (and obama said in his convention speech) it's NOT about him, it's about in which direction the country wants it's next leader to take us. My guess is the answer will be "any direction but the one we're headed now". If we can get by the crooked voting machines, we should be okay with electing obama. And did i mention the crooked voting machine problem? Yes--it bears mentioning twice.

  15. well i know the media focuses on obama more because america has entered new waters with this election.

    i think the reason for the mccain thing is, you dont here them talk about his things as much as obama does, and again the media puts soooo much focuse on obama.

  18. a majority of republicans never wanted mccain,so its no suprise that alot of them are saying I'm against obama, rather than I'm for mccain.

    in the republicans eyes he is the clinched "lesser of two evils".
