Is this enough of a tip for pizza?

$3.68. I don't want to spend an entire $30 on pizza. 29 seems better somehow.

  1. I usually tip 3 and what ever change is left over so I personally think that is fine.  


  2. $3.68 is plenty. I delivered pizzas for many years as a second job, and I can tell you that delivery people remember the good tippers. $2.00 is standard. $3.00 is good. Anything over that is a bonus. I had a few guys who had a poker party every Tuesday. They tipped $20.00 every time, and if they needed anything else along the way (cigars, beer), they got it.

    Bad tippers or people who didn't tip at all usually got their pies after I stopped at the house to watch Law & Order (just kidding on that.)  

  3. That extra dollar will probably mean more to the delivery person than to you later on.

    But that still seems like a healthy tip for a pizza delivery either way.

  10. It's only a dollar difference, and it could make the difference between you getting cold pizza or hot pizza next time.  Delivery people have good memories.  Just give them the thirty bucks.

  18. Yea, that's fine, esp if the distance isn't too far.  You don't have to give a flat amount, rounded to the next dollar and a few dollars more is fine.

    At least theyre getting a tip!
