  1. This wouldnt really be means to put someone in Jail

  2. Yes, it's a threat.

  3. Unfortunately not, although it's never wise to actually threaten someone.  Even if you had that as evidence, the police can't do anything about it until someone actually gets hurt -- something that generally only happens when it's too late.  However, if the person that received this is genuinely worried about it, the most the police could do was talk to the person who sent it.

However, if this evidence is still around after someone gets hurt, it could definitely hurt your case if you were brought to court over it.  It certainly doesn't look good.

  4. Obviously you did something to her.

In the details about your question you swear... I can tell, your not nice person.

Snitching is stupid. Just drop the act if you cant handle it.

  5. That would be considered criminal threats in California...  Of course you have some departments that won't take a report, because they want to keep their 'numbers' down...  But it is a threat and even though you may not take it seriously, it is intended to strike fear and be terroristic.

  6. Lay off the drugs!!

  7. You can definitely report it to your local police department and they will make a threats report for you but they will also talk to the person that sent the message. If you have sent her any messages that are similar to the one that she sent you then most likely no one will get into any trouble. If you have not done anything to incriminate yourself then most likely the report will be sent to juvenile court where it will be handled.

  8. Using telecommications to convey a threat is illegal. If that was a phone message, text message, or email, they can be charged.
